Terms of Service

Our Services are available to users of all ages. However, by using our Services, you confirm that:

• If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use our Services
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You are not barred from receiving the Services under any applicable law

Our Services are informational in nature and do not involve investment accounts, trading, or financial transactions on your behalf.

To access our Services, you must create an account. You may register using Google, Apple, X (Twitter), or your email address. By registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Keep your account credentials confidential
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

CheckBox.Money offers both free and paid subscription tiers. The free tier provides limited access to our Services. Paid tiers provide expanded features and access to premium newsletters.

Billing

• Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected)
• Billing is processed through a third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your full payment card information
• By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us
• Upon cancellation, your access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing period

No Refunds

• All payments are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds, partial refunds, or credits for unused portions of a subscription period
• This includes cancellations made mid-billing-cycle

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of any price change to existing subscribers via email.

CheckBox.Money newsletters, including all stock analysis, market commentary, sector reports, themed selections (“Checkbox Selects”), and any other content delivered through our Services, are provided for the personal, non-commercial use of the registered account holder only.

You expressly agree that you will NOT:

• Share, forward, reproduce, or redistribute any newsletter content with any person who is not a registered subscriber of CheckBox.Money
• Post, publish, or upload newsletter content to any website, social media platform, forum, group chat, or public or private channel
• Use newsletter content for commercial purposes, including reselling, sublicensing, or incorporating it into any product or service
• Copy, screenshot, or extract content from newsletters for distribution to non-subscribers

Each newsletter subscription is for a single account holder. Sharing account credentials or newsletter content with non-subscribers is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination without refund. We reserve the right to pursue any and all legal remedies available to us in cases of unauthorized distribution.

All content on CheckBox.Money, including but not limited to newsletter text, AI-generated analysis, logos, graphics, software, and the overall design of our Services, is the exclusive property of CheckBox.Money or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This license does not include any right to resell or commercially exploit the Services or their content.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from our Services through automated means
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services
• Upload or transmit any viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Use the Services to manipulate financial markets or engage in any fraudulent activity

CheckBox.Money's newsletters are generated using artificial intelligence. Our team crafts and refines the prompts that guide our AI systems, but newsletters are produced and distributed with limited real-time human review.

You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies
• Content may not reflect the most current market conditions or news at the exact time of delivery
• CheckBox.Money does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any AI-generated content
• No newsletter content should be interpreted as personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice

Our Services integrate with third-party authentication providers (Google, Apple, X) and payment processors (Stripe and others). Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party services.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services.

From time to time, the Services may be unavailable for periods of time for maintenance and/or modifications to the Services. While we will endeavour to make this unavailability as brief as possible, CheckBox.Money shall not be held liable for any losses or damages, pecuniary or non-pecuniary, resulting from the interruption of the normal functioning of the Services, and disclaims any responsibility thereto.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CheckBox.Money and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or CAD $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CheckBox.Money and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Services.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that provides mandatory consumer dispute resolution rights, those rights are not affected by this clause.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance.
